About 45 minutes from the centre of Prague

This course hosted the European PGA Golf Tour during 1997 and the Czech Open on numerous occasions. There are 18 challenging holes with wide but tricky greens along with several ponds and a hilly profile, making the course very memorable for all golfers. Located within 45 minutes of Prague in the beautiful Czech countryside, the magnificent Karlstejn castle provides a spectacular backdrop. The newly built clubhouse has superb facilities for both golfers and non-golfers. The golf course is one of the leading courses not only in the area of Prague, but around the Czech Republic as well.

:: Golf Resort Konopiste

About 45 minutes by car from the centre of Prague

This excellent golf resort, which opened the first 18 holes in 2002, is located only 40 km southeast of Prague. Konopiste offers 2 high standard 18 hole courses (Radecky and D´Este). Players of all standards will enjoy the course setting which, cut sympathetically into the rolling forest and hillside, has some inventive features. Alongside this, there is also a 9 hole public course as well as good practice facilities. The refurbished Manor House provides conference rooms and an excellent hotel to meet all your needs. The golf resort is a unique golf complex, which you shouldn’t miss in the Prague area.

:: Golf Resort Beroun

About 30 minutes by car from the centre of Prague

This resort opened in May 2009 offers services both for golfers and non-golfers. The golf course is beautifully nested in a lightly hilly environment surrounded by nature such as mixed forests, lakes, ponds and solitary trees. The course was designed by famous Canadian golf architect Les Furber and features 18 championship holes with dominant strategic design so the course is ideal for golfers of all levels ranging from beginners to professionals. Each hole is original and the course offers many breathtaking views from the top of the hill on the Beroun town and valley vicinity. There is accommodation in nine double rooms (2 luxury with outdoor patio jacuzzi), wellness centre, fitness and outdoor swimming pool are also available.

:: Albatross Golf Resort

About 25 minutes by car from the centre of Prague

The course spreads over an area of about eighty hectares and is built on the owner’s land, on a very moderately hilly terrain. The resort lies near the village of Vysoky Ujezd in the vicinity of Prague, on the very border of the Bohemian Kras at 420 metres above sea level. Thanks to a favourable climate, the outdoor golf season here may in fact be one of the longest in Central Europe! The 72-par course has greens from 459 to 812 square metres, depending on the overall approach and difficulty of the particular hole. The total area of the greens is 11 677 square metres including fore-greens. The holes have up to five teeing areas totalling 12 500 square metres. The fairways cover 16.58 hectares and the bunkers total to 10 400 square metres.

:: Prague City GC

About 20 minutes by car from the centre of Prague

Opened in 2009 and co-designed by Alex Cejka as the first 18-hole golf course within the Prague city limits. Conceived as a Championship course it has the ambitions of hosting high-level professional tournaments but still playable for recreational golfers. The front "Links Nine" and the back "Lakes Nine" present a dual personality of challenging playing conditions accented with red sand waste bunkers providing remarkable visual contrasts. The clubhouse and restaurant area stems from a very sensitive reconstruction of a 200-year-old horse stable.

:: Golf Resort Karlovy Vary

About 2 hours by car from Prague, 15 minutes from Karlovy Vary centre

Karlovy Vary is a famous Czech spa town. The original golf club and its 9 hole course was established in 1904. The current 18 hole championship course was built in 1933. This golf course is one of the oldest and the most beautiful in Central Europe, located in the magnificent setting of the "Krusne hory" mountain range, only 120 m west of Prague. The course hosted several international tournaments and the Czech Open many times. Since he year 1997 the new luxurious clubhouse offers first class services to satisfy even the most demanding guests. You can find a beautiful view on the hole Nr. 18 from the restaurant terrace.

:: Golf Club Cihelny, Karlovy Vary

About hours by car from Prague, 15 minutes from Karlovy Vary centre

The Golf course Cihelny is a fairly beautiful undulating 18 hole course set in the woodlands and open grounds. Located in the valley of the river Tepla, close to the spa town Karlovy Vary and on the way to Marianske Lazne. The golf course, includes 18 holes, designed by the Gary Player Design Company and the 18 hole Honey Course (Pitch and Putt). The Cihleny course that has hosted, for example, the European Junior Championships recently is full of challenging water and sand hazzards. In combination with the Golf Resort Karlovy Vary or the Royal Golf Club in Marianske Lazne presents a great golfing experience around the spa towns west of Prague.

:: Royal Golf Club Marianske Lazne

About 2 hours by car from Prague, about 50 minutes from Karlovy Vary centre

The Royal Golf Club Marianske Lazne is a beautiful mature 18 hole course set in the woodland grounds in the famous spa town west of Prague, not far from the borders of Germany. The course, that is the oldest in the Czech Republic, has been professionally designed and masterfully landscaped. The course in Marianske Lazne, that was opened in 1905 by His Majesty King Edward VII, offers a lot of challenging water and sand hazzards and hosted the Czech Open several times as well as many European PGA Tour events.

:: Golf Resort Franzensbad (Hazlov)

About 50 minutes from Karlovy Vary centre

This challenging 18-hole golf course was opened in 2002 and was designed by the Anglo-German team of Peter Walker and Heinz Fehring. The course is well design, both using the natural elements alongside some wellplaced course architecture. Its undulating fairways and spectacular countryside setting will definitely see it become as popular as its famous neighbours ‘Karlovy Vary’ and ‘Marianske Lazne’ golf clubs. The Resort Frantiskovy Lazne is located in the west part of the Czech Republic very close to German border and about 1 hour from Karlovy Vary.

:: Golf Club Sokolov

About 25 min. by car from Karlovy Vary centre

This new championship German designed 18-hole par 72 is 6,288 meters long course, fortunately it is at an altitude of 430m to give the golfer every help with the length. The difference between the highest and the lowest point of the course is 42 m, so expect to be challenged. Located in the area of Karlovy Vary, those in the know are already claiming this course is a jewel in the Czech golf crown. The clubhouse has a restaurant, bar and terrace.
